I’m a photographer and graphic designer based in Davis, California. I became fascinated by photography and photographers when I was a kid. I even attended workshops at the Friends of Photography in Carmel in my mid- to late-teens. In college I took a detour into botany and vegetation ecology. In my first career I worked on plant surveys, wetland delineations, and habitat restoration plans at an environmental consulting firm.
After some years, I returned to visually creative interests, becoming a graphic designer focused mainly on maps, technical/scientific information graphics, and visual simulations. This is my day job today, and I’m still at the same environmental consulting firm in Sacramento, California.
